Home Delivered Meals
Duration varies – Full cost to prepare this meal is $11.02. The suggested donation is $4.00 a meal. This program provides a hot nutritious meal to the eligible meal participant. Requirements for eligibility are not based on income but physical ability to shop and prepare balanced meals for yourself.
Senior Meal Sites
Duration varies – Recommended donation of $4.00. No one is denied a meal based on inability or unwillingness to donate towards the program. We provide delicious, nutritious meals for seniors 60+ Monday thru Fridays at our different Stutsman meal sites. These sites are: Center 1, Jameshouse, Gardenette and Streeter.
Frozen Meal Delivery
Duration varies – The suggested donation is $4.00 a meal. No one is denied a meal based on inability or unwillingness to donate towards the program. Frozen Meals are available for the elderly individual (over 60) who is unable to shop and prepare a balanced meal and where hot home delivered meals are not available.
Daily Bread Program
Duration varies – Free to Seniors in need. Serves Seniors in need of food. Freezer located in coat closet of the JRSC. The food in the freezer is from certified kitchens around town and any excess food made at JRSC kitchen.
Loan Closet
We have a well-supplied loan closet that houses wheelchairs, walkers, toilet risers, knee scooters, shower seats and much more. For a nominal fee these items may be rented for as long as needed. We just ask that you return your item(s) when you are finished using them. Donated items are always appreciated!!
